For 9 days in a row, there has been frost overnight in the San Luis Nabisco area. The morning glories around my house are long dead and the banana trees up the hill show little sign of life. The funniest of all things is the Californian reaction. Apparently it says somewhere the the Poly Dolly code to go outside in a mini skirt on these cold days. The skirt may barely cover the buttocks, but as long as you have Uggs on your feet, you are hip and hot. Oh well, can't teach an old dog...
Anyway, I had my first jewelry smithing class last night. We learned to cut and smooth metal sheets. We will be able to purchase other alloys later, but for right now, we are working the copper. Tommorrow I have my first basketball game. I guess we will learn soon enough how out of shape I am and how little this past week of working out has done.
I have finally sent in my concentration proposal. It is titled Environmental Perception. Namely, what your mind sees in a place that you dont. I think it could be very fun. Now all I need to do is find a tentative senior project within the next two weeks. Happy Hunting Laura.
